The latest issue of the American magazine Paper 360 has released the latest list of the top 75 global paper industries based on the net sales of the company's pulp, paper, processing and trade (PPCM) business in 2024 (for some companies, this is the fiscal year).
The top 10 enterprises are: Ireland's Smurfit WestRock, the United States' P&G, the United States' International Paper, the United States' Kimberly Clark, Sweden's Essity, Japan's 0ji, the United Kingdom's Amcor, Finland's UPM, the United States' Graphic Packaging, and the United States' Packaging Corporation of America.
This year, 12 Chinese enterprises made it to the top 75 globally, and 8 Chinese enterprises reached the top 50, maintaining the same number as the previous year.
In 2024, against the backdrop of the global decline in the paper industry, Chinese paper companies maintained a relatively stable development. Among the 12 enterprises, 10 saw an increase in their rankings. Jiulong Paper still remained at the top among Chinese enterprises, with a 2024 revenue of 8265.4million US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 4.9%. Its ranking rose to 11th globally, just one step away from the top 10. Moreover, its growth rate ranked first among Chinese enterprises. After experiencing the worst performance since its listing, Jiulong Paper showed a strong recovery in 2024!
